In this Wealth Strategy Deep Dive, Dave Wolcott takes a step back from tactics and dives into something far more foundational—your identity and vision as a wealth builder. If you’re stuck in short-term thinking or feel like you’re reacting instead of designing your life, this episode introduces a powerful exercise to reset your trajectory. Dave breaks down how true wealth isn’t just financial—it’s multidimensional, spanning health, relationships, purpose, and legacy. And it all starts with one question: Who are you becoming?
Through a practical mind-mapping exercise, Dave guides you to architect your own “five-dimensional wealth” vision over the next 3–5 years. From defining exact financial targets to clarifying behaviors, values, and even emotional states, this framework forces you to think bigger—and more intentionally—about your future. You’ll also explore what your future self no longer tolerates, how to create measurable milestones, and how to align your personal vision with your partner for maximum impact. This isn’t just goal-setting—it’s identity-driven wealth creation designed for long-term sovereignty and legacy.
- Identity Drives Wealth: Start by defining who you’re becoming, not just what you want to achieve.
- Think in 5 Dimensions: True wealth includes health, relationships, purpose, legacy, and financial freedom.
- Get Hyper-Specific: Clear numbers, timelines, and measurable outcomes create real traction.
- Design Your Future Self: Define what you no longer tolerate to accelerate growth and alignment.
- Align & Expand: Build your vision individually first, then align with your partner for shared clarity and scale.
This is trying to look at some of your milestones over the year and how we are trying to help mastermind members over the next three to five years create this vision. Welcome to a special solo series of wealth strategy secrets of the ultra-wealthy. I’m your host, Dave Wolcott. We get a lot of the same questions from our investors about infinite banking, tax efficiency, asset protection, strategy stacking, and how to actually build wealth outside of Wall Street. We get it; we know you’re busy. In this series, I’m breaking down complex wealth strategy topics into short tactical episodes that you can actually use to build legacy wealth. Whether you’re just starting your journey or fine-tuning your portfolio, these episodes are designed to give you high-impact insights in just a few minutes. Let’s dive in.
Now we’re going to move into a fun exercise. We’ve done this with some of the members before. If you haven’t done this, it’ll be a new opportunity. Wherever you are, if you haven’t realized this is a journey and there is no destination, your vision can only get bigger and better, and you can’t achieve it unless you dream it. Now we’re in the perfect place of harmony to be able to start to drive this. To dovetail off of what Ani was talking about, a lot of people are caught in short-term thinking or being controlled by their nervous system and have no true identity. What we want to do is work on creating a mind map that focuses on you in the center. By being in the center, you’re able to anchor everything. This five-dimensional wealth, these pillars, and all the things that you feel are important in your life will be able to be expanded upon. The greatest thing is you get to be the artist here. You are the creator of your own life. Whether it’s philanthropy, spiritual, health, vitality, or legacy, you get to work on all of these things that have meaning to you.
We also talk about different forms of capital, the six forms of capital. A lot of people in the R360 community talk about that as well. These are forms of capital that embody what we call “holistic wealth.” These will be good ideas that you could potentially bridge off of from here. Start by writing down who you’re becoming. We talked about being a wealth architect or potentially a wealth visionary. Maybe you’re moving closer towards sovereignty and what that looks like for you. You have no codependence on your wealth or relationships. Maybe it’s about peak performance. Create with that identity of who you’re looking to become.
Then we’re going to draw out these different dimensions that you hold important and what you want your vision to look like in the next three to five years. As we build out these different dimensions, you want to make it as crystal clear as possible. If you have any numbers to support something, if you want your passive income to be one million a year, write it down: One million a year achieved in 2028. If you want to improve your health, what does that look like? I want my biological age to be 15 years younger than my chronological age within three years. I want to have an A+ in my blood labs and my panels. Write down very specific things. You can also think about behaviors and the code that Ani talked about. I think instituting some of those principles or code in how you react is good. Also talk about feelings and how that’s important to you as you go through these things, or any standards and values. How do your values tie into this?
As you go through, think about some tougher questions. Do not just put down what initially comes to mind, but think big. We want to think with the most expansive abundance as possible. Ask things like, “What does extraordinary look like in this area?” Or world-class, like you’re creating a legacy that you want to be world-class. Describe how that feels to you, what that looks like, and what the metrics are around that. What would 10X look like from where I am now? Start to define that and put some gravity around it. This is another good one: What does my future self no longer tolerate? If you identified with someone who is controlling or scarcity-minded, maybe you no longer tolerate that.
This is looking at some of your milestones over the year and how we are trying to help mastermind members create this vision where we’re setting in place the foundations in year one. Then you’re working through expansion, setting up your architecture and control architecture, but moving towards this idea of real sovereignty, self-actualization, and moving closer to consciousness. Here are the exercise instructions: start with yourself in the center. Talk about who you are becoming, that one thing, and just let it go. Think expansively and think big.
If you have your spouse with you, you can work on it individually first and then try to come back. You can reflect and join up with your spouse later to see where they’re coming from. It’s very important that you look at it from your own lens first and then come back together to see where the alignment is or if there is any dissonance, as those could be opportunities for you.
